Interpreting is to change the spoken word of a speaker of one language into a different language, so that two or more parties who do not speak the same language can communicate. A professional interpreter does not add or change the meaning of any communication, interprets everything that is said and maintains the register of the speakers. Professional ethics require confidentiality, respect, and impartiality. Spanish Language Services provides on-site interpreting services for employee meetings and training.
