Qualifications and References

Karen Briles was raised in South Texas where the population is 95% Hispanic.  She began learning Spanish, and much of the Mexican culture, at an early age.  Karen received a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University, specializing in International Marketing.  She began Spanish Language Services in 1996.  Mrs. Briles has been a featured speaker for many conferences and training seminars.  She serves a growing list of
valued clients.

Karen is a member of the American Translators Association, the Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce.  Spanish Language Services is certified as a North Carolina Woman Owned Business Enterprise.  Karen has served as a Loaned Executive and is a member of the Community Planning & Funds Distribution Committee for the Randolph County United Way.  She and her husband live in Asheboro, North Carolina with their two sons.
